A Salem, Oregon man was arrested for forging his own death certificate.  Michael Rosen faked his death to avoid a court case involving larceny of a credit card.  His probation officer became suspicious when he reviewed Rosen’s death certificate where he noted the misspelling of the cemetery’s name, the absence of a raised seal, and an incorrectly spelled cause of death.  Rosen now faces additional charges for his scheme.  Source
