35-year-old mother, Misty McCollister is awaiting sentencing for letting her 12-year-old son drive her car . A witness reported a car weaving in and out of its lane and varying its speed to police. Another woman and child were in the back seat. McCollister, who had been drinking all weekend, said the other woman would not drive because she didn’t have her glasses so she put her son on her lap to drive them home. Source

52-year-old Paulus Simeon Semigak was caught stealing a $6.22 block of cheese from a Sobeys grocery store in Canada. He was sentenced to two weeks in jail and one year of probation. Semigak has a 22-page criminal history showing non-compliance with court orders. Source

Ola Mae Agee, an 87-year-old Florida woman, was sentenced to 18 months in jail for selling crack to an undercover officer. Agee escaped the maximum sentence of up to 15 years for the crime. Reports say this was not the woman’s first offense. Agee was arrested in December 1996 for a drug related crime and was put on probation until she was 75 years old. Source
