A 36-year-old Warminster, Pennsylvania man, Milan Marinkovic, brutally beat up his roommate after a taking a mixture of prescription pills and alcohol.  A witness at the parking lot where the beating took place recalled seeing Marinkovic choke, punch, and elbow his roommate in the face until he fell unconscious. Marinkovic then stomped on his unconscious roommate’s head. When discovered at the scene of the crime standing over 30-year-old Shawn Delp’s body, Marinkovic told police that he was Jedi master Obi-Wan Kenobi on a mission to “kill all evil”. Marinkovic says his drug addiction has impacted his life in recent years. Delp claims he is still still recovering from his injuries including bruises, broken teeth and cuts that required stitches imparted by his former friend. Source

A 26-year-old Indiana man mistakenly sent messages to deputy prosecutor Courtney Swank regarding drugs he was trying to sell. The text messages read “Roxy twenties fifteen” and “Hey buddy just wondering if you needed any fortys.” Police arrested the man believing the wording refers to oxycodone and other prescription drugs. The man is charged with dealing in a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, and public intoxication. Source

A Delta flight travelling from Chicago to New York was disturbed by a passenger who stripped naked and yelled “No! No! No!” while flight attendants tried to cover her body with a blanket. The woman, estimated in to be in her late 20s is thought to be “emotionally disturbed.” She was taken to a Queens, New York hospital and is not expected to face criminal charges.  Source

Chaofan, a young boy in Northern China, became stuck in a washing machine during a game of hide-and-seek with his mother. The mother of the 3-year-old had no problem finding her son but soon discovered that his legs were tightly caught in the washing machine’s drum. Chaofan was trapped for over an hour until emergency services were able to cut open the drum with a circular saw. Source
